Meet Jim!

Jim is a sweet treeing walker coonhound, approximately 5 years young. He is learning how to behave in a house and a crate, and is doing very well for both. Jim walks well on a leash with very little pulling. The only time he gets a little upset is when people leave.

Jim doesn't need to be right beside, just likes to know you are there. He will put himself to bed if he feels tired, without trying to get up on the bed or other furniture.

While Jim looks skinny now, we are slowly putting weight on him. He has a good appetite, but doesn't eat too quickly.  

Jim gets along well with the other dogs in the house with no squabbling or dominance issues. 

He doesn't try to play with the others, but doesn't mind their company.


Jim is a dear soul who is content to be curled up near you. He loves a good scratch, but doesn't demand affection.

All of our dogs are fully vetted.  They have been vaccinated, altered, microchipped and heartworm tested and on prevention.

LOCATION:  Jim is currently in foster care in Sudbury, ON.  With the help of volunteers, transportation to her forever home can possibly be arranged.  Don't let distance deter you!
